The one Blake posted

So Paige said that I don't provide enough input here and that I should add something to the blog. (She didn't know that I go through and proofread and correct her posts ;) Anyway I rarely feel that I can just put something up here that others would be interested in reading. I don't think I'm very good at relating stories like the "Cat in the Bag" story on Mary Beth's blog. I don't have funny pictures and stories about my adorable kids like on Jessica Bradshaw's blog. I just have a regular kind of life that doesn't seem like it might be very interesting to others. Maybe I just need a little practice... ya, I should probably just get in the habit of posting and then when something cool happens I'll say, "This will be perfect for my blog." ... so... anyway...
Paige and I have a new (if only temporary) pet snake. My youngest brother Quinn is going on his mission to Mexico and I think he leaves in March or April?... so we are taking care of his pet snake. It's a corn snake, it's not very big. It eats mice and lizards and goldfish apparently (right out of its water dish, or so I'm told). We were really excited to get it because we thought we'd get to play with it a lot or watch it do cool stuff. It turns out we were destined for disappointment there, it just lies all curled up in this tube in its tank. I feel a bit like Dudley when they went to the zoo and he's banging on the glass like "MOVE SNAKE... this is boooring."

I familiarize a lot of my life with Harry Potter because Paige and I listen to Harry Potter audiobooks like every night. Paige likes to have background noise and we have slightly dissimilar interests in music. I also associate a lot of events with episodes from The Office, which I love, and Friends which I didn't think I would like as much as I do. Even as I type this Paige has put Harry Potter and the Prizoner of Azkaban on so it must be time for bed. Goodnight all, hopefully I'll be attentive enough to the interesting parts of my day that I'll be able to post again.

the one with Paige's Etsy

*click on the title after you've read the post*

Ok, so... as I have had no opportunity to "grace the stage" in sometime, all of my creative "energy" (i.e. fidgetiness and dramatic overanalyzing.) has had to go somewhere! So....I have taken to creating little boxes and what not. They’re really not all amazing but I’ve put them up in a little store front, hoping, not to make money, but to break even for supplies and stuff. But the real point of this post is the shamelessly push "Etsy.com".

It is this fabulous little gathering of artists and crafters and it showcases and sells their homemade products! I am addicted! I love it. Coolest one of a kind items (and best of all, no child labor or laborer exploitation!...And good for our environment because nothing is mass produced...yay!)....but still, they sell the cutest accessories I’ve found to date. Seriously...shop there!

Not many LDS specific products (with the exception of the tile we purchased) but I’m trying to boost the Mormon pride!

<3 the one with the late Valentines day <3

Yesterday was Valentine's Day! (can you feel all the love?) Blake and i had a pretty great time. as my work day was coming to an end, Blake came to Fairmont with a really cool purse, a stuffed love puppy, and a beautiful card. (we bought Blake an awesome electric piano that sounds and feels like 90% real, so THAT was his Valentine's Day present). We went home to change and what not, and as we were about to leave we caught Blake's mom "heart attacking" our front door! (thank you mom, we love you!) After that we headed for DownTown Disney, Where we dined at Rainforest Cafe (after waiting for about 30 min, and playing with all of their rainforesty toys and taking phone pictures) We sat by the baby elephant which talked though out most of our dinner, it was cool. (if you hadn't heared yet, i now have braces, as i'm sure you can see in the picture so i'm still eating from the mushy foods list...i coulnd't even chew fries...) after dinner we walked around and shopped a bit. it was so nice, just spending time...it felt like we were dating againg. anyway, after general merryment, we saw the movie Juno, Which i thought was super awesome and way cool, Blake just liked it. we then went home and crashed because it was already after 12 and we're both lame people with work and school.
i love my husband. it truly was just so nice being out and having time to spend. i did sort of feel like a couple of highschool students out on a date though. i mean, lets face it, neither of us looks our age and my braces take off about 4 years alone!
...sigh...
i do love my husband.
